After a long time (again), I am here with a new thought, with a new experience that I got, and a new sight of life in front of you all.

Currently, it’s midnight — 12:53 a.m. This is the time where poets believe that humans become the softest version of themselves.

Honestly, midnight doesn’t ask who you are during the day. It listens to who you become when the world finally goes quiet.

Seriously, I pity those people who never read anything — books, blogs, articles, novels, etc. These are the things that actually carry the weight of emotions. Just imagine a blank paper, totally empty of words, can expand or shrink the soul of a person when sentences are written on it.

I think midnight is the perfect time of the day to write such blogs. Why? Because at midnight, even unfinished thoughts feel complete — not because they are solved, but because they are finally allowed to breathe.

CHOCOLAVA

You must have seen or eaten a chocolava cake. How pretty is it, right? The soft cake filled with even softer chocolate cream inside it, both packed in a hard cardboard box that is waiting to be opened.

There are some people who are the same — looking hard outside but waiting to open in front of their loved ones.

Do you know the great philosopher Albert Camus once said,

“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”

A pale-looking, graphically enhanced, soulless cardboard box holding a sweet, creamy chocolava cake inside it is such an irony.

The learnings that we get at every step of life are the creamy essence of that cake. Just imagine eating a bland cake just to finish it — sounds bud-killing, right? Then imagine some people living their beautiful life without making mistakes, without enjoying victories, without feeling regrets, and without feeling proud of something they have done.

I mean, these are the things that give us a soul.

Do you know why good people are often called “sweet”? Because they make mistakes, feel guilt, taste failures, get hurt, feel broken, and yet choose to spread kindness and love wherever they go. Aren’t these the sweetest beings on earth?

I mean, there should be something above the “Green flag,” and it should be called the “chocolate flag.”

LET IT MELT

Imagine a chocolava cake with its chocolate frozen like a rock inside it. Will you like it? Let it melt. Let it flow. Let it be messy.

Our heart is a source of emotions as well as a bull’s-eye for the distressing behaviour of society. But can you change it? Impossible.

The source shouldn’t get jammed or hardened like a rock. Let your heart melt. Let your emotions flow. Let them go.

Do you know, while writing this, I realised why poets and writers often present the feeling of “feeling loved” or “realizing something beautiful” as “heart getting melted.”

You must have heard someone saying, “Ohh, he said this to me and my heart just melted.”

“The chocolava” stands for this concept. The chocolate melts as if the heart is oozing emotions out of it.

PROBLEMS ARE INEXORABLE

Our problems are impossible to stop. That’s a fact that we have to accept. The tragedy of facing this fact is the sadness that comes along the path. The downfall of emotions inside the heart is sometimes bearable and sometimes difficult to digest.

Imagine being in a world where there are only straight highways without turns and beautiful ghats on the map. Just thinking about a plain, boring trip can make us so unexcited. Then imagine an entire life without hurdles, rugged paths, and problems — will it be interesting? Well, maybe for some time, but not forever.

When we are on a long trip, someone is vomiting, someone is enjoying, someone is sleeping, someone is on headphones enjoying his own vibe, someone is gossiping, and someone is focused on the roads. Even for a small trip of 2 or 3 hours, everyone has a different mindset. Then for a trip of a whole life, imagine how many mindsets you are going to encounter — and still you believe in the concept of Universal Opinion?

When someone leaves you or rejects you, you might feel upset or stressed about his or her opinion being the universal opinion for you. But relax — not everyone loves roses, but they are beautiful, aren’t they?

CHANGE IS INEVITABLE

There will come a time when you will be facing an existential crisis. Someone will come and literally try to question every single thing you do or think. Someone will make you feel doubtful about every single decision you take.

Hear me, my friend — nature loves you. The universe loves you for what you are. The energies around you are nourished by your thoughts; don’t malnourish them.

Let me tell you something. I was walking on a rugged path yesterday, and suddenly a pebble tortured my sole. Then I realised I wasn’t wearing slippers. I quickly went home and brought slippers with me to walk.

Imagine if I had decided to walk barefoot on that path anyway — would the walk be comfortable?

We have to go back from where we started to bring something that we never had, to walk peacefully in this rugged life. So sometimes you should pause, collect yourself, know your situation, make changes accordingly, and then walk again.

There will be a time when you will meet people who will tell you not to walk at all just because they never realised the solution was simply to get a pair of slippers.

Seriously, work every day on yourself. Be excited about every new day. Try to make every day a new day. Try new things. Try new hobbies. Try going in the sun. Try listening to a new artist. Try learning new AI tricks. Try online business, even if it is small. Try a part-time job for a month somewhere you feel excited to know about. Try visiting a library, a bookstore, or a book street and bring a new book to read.

Go to the vegetable market on a holiday. Talk to stranger shopkeepers. Make new friends. Learn bargaining. Learn conversation skills.

If you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend or Husband or wife, talk to her about her interests and what she learned new. Show interest in her topics.

Be close to God. Learn to control emotions. Be the perfectionist of your field. Everybody starts as newbies, and some reach the peaks just because they kept doing it every day.

Be interesting. You are interesting. Make your life so good that you will start loving your own company.
